"Content of a work of art is nothing else as the creation itself. The art has no ideas, it is the idea." (Konrad Fiedler)

My works arise from the transfer of the inner occurences to the outside. As a painter, I see a similar inspirational impulses like a writer or a composer would, when they are trying to express their inner feelings. Throughout the work I keep adding more and more layers so that the forms and colours at the end are totaly different from the ones in the beginning. This way many paintings lie one over another, although only the last statement may stay visible. Sometimes I do not want this to be the last layer so I give my paintings phantasy names.

The transparency of my paintings depends on the individual and his/her personal view, which can discover the other layers of his/hers that must not necessarily be identical with mine.

I paint on different materials that deliver different results. A form will not look the same on canvas or paper as on the columns I produce. These can be used as decorative objects although they are practical as well.

The statement "Beauty is in the eye of beholder" could easily be translated to "Art is in the mood of beholder's eye" whereby closer examination can evoke vision of phantasies or even thought processes which would make the beholder the creator and me very happy.
